Great trip up to Kunanyi/Mount Wellington, Cascade Gardens and Mount Nelson. Due to road closures from snow the night before, unable to get right up the top but altogether a nice morning with great views of Hobart. Our guide Christian was great, with funny stories and keeping everyone in good spirits.

Spent the morning exploring the beautiful view from the summit of Mount Wellington and some historical places on the way back down to Hobart.

It was a lovely morning! We were lucky enough to have amazing weather and therefore had a spectacular view from the summit. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable, he made the tour interesting. He made sure that we enjoyed the tour fully despite being slightly behind on schedule. Overall great experience. Definitely recommend!

Nigel had a lot of knowledge regarding Hobart and Mt Wellington

Nigel had a lot of knowledge regarding Hobart and Mt Wellington. Nigel went the extra mile. Once in Mt Wellington, it was very cold with snow, very enjoyable. We also went to the Female Factory which was very informative. We were also shown other attractions of Hobart.

The trip was nice but disappointed we could not get to the top.

The trip was nice but disappointed we could not get to the top. The driver was great and showed us different alternatives. Don’t think this tour should be offered in the mornings but rather the afternoon to give opportunity for the weather to clear.

For our Mt Wellington tour

For our Mt Wellington tour, we had Tim the Grayline Tour Guide. It was a cold, cloudy and rainy morning in Hobart with snow expected at the top of the mountain so right from the beginning Tim let us know the road to the summit was closed. However, he said we would head up there to see if the road reopened. We got to the Springs and the road was still closed but Tim let us get out at the site of the old hotel to experience the weather. It started to snow which was lovely. We then turned back around and visited the Cascade Brewery and Gardens, and the Female Factory. Tim took us to Mt Nelson which had beautiful views of Hobart, though not as good as Mt Wellington would have been. Overall we enjoyed our Saturday morning tour with Tim. He was very passionate, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. We will endeavour to get back up the mountain with Grayline next time we go to Hobart.

We had an amazing time

We had an amazing time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and she tried to squeeze in all the info and experience she can (very patient and professional too). Mountain Wellington was breathtaking and cold! This is such a good tour if you're a little bit of time constraint. Looking forward to coming back to Hobart and booking a full day tour.

The tour is good however I find it a little pricey for the whole trip

The tour is good however I find it a little pricey for the whole trip. We went out the mountain in the morning, have a shot coffee break and only have about 20 minutes at Mt. Wellington which is very short. Before we head back to Hobart we stop by at one of the convict's place shortly. It'd be great if we have more time at Mt. Wellington!

Had a good morning tour to Mount Wellington despite the cloud cover at the top

Had a good morning tour to Mount Wellington despite the cloud cover at the top. It was cool but not windy or too cold. The driver was clean, polite and informative and told us interesting facts along the way. We were told we could be picked up at our Hotel, however, despite advising our hotel reception where we were seated, the tour guide missed us the first time around, however, when I called we were told to go to the Campbell street pick up area and second time lucky for pick up. The bus appeared to be slightly bigger than the previous tour I was one and was roomy and air conditioning worked well and there were fewer people.

We did this tour and we had a great time

We did this tour and we had a great time. The driver arrived 20 minutes late but aside from that we had a great time. The tour guide knew a lot about Hobart and was not shy to share the information. He took us up to Mount Wellington on a really clear day and it was absolutely stunning! Definitely great driving skills as well driving up the mountain. Definitely would recommend this tour to someone who wants to go up to Mount Wellington but doesn't want to drive themselves.
