The staff at Bruny Island Wildlife Cruises were very friendly and gave good advice on what to bring to the 3-hour cruise

The staff at Bruny Island Wildlife Cruises were very friendly and gave good advice on what to bring to the 3-hour cruise. The boat was very fast and we found the staff to have a great deal of knowledge of Bruny Island and its surrounds as well as checking up on us to make sure we were okay. It was very cold at the end of May and warm clothes, beanie and gloves are highly recommended.

The tour was very well organised and the guide was very much informative

The tour was very well organised and the guide was very much informative. We were also given tablets to prevent motion sickness and occasional snacks. Lots of photo opportunities and the tour was not rushed over. The boat ride was thrilling and bit bumpy but enjoyable. We were also given fleece jackets and ponchos. Definitely recommended!

What an amazing experience

What an amazing experience, the tour guides were funny characters and knew the island very well & were very informative, although the weather wasn't ideal, still a great day. Oh my, the seals are very stinky. We enjoyed a beautiful fish & chips at the newly built restaurant, they were extremely busy and although we pre-ordered to avoid delays, it took some time for lunch to arrive, it was well worth the wait & staff were apologetic for the delays. Given it was a peak period, and a full restaurant delays have to be expected. All staff were very friendly.

Great outing

Great outing, made so much more enjoyable by Mick and Nick's down to earth commentary and genuine way of looking after all. Top marks fellows.

Loved the trip

Loved the trip. Make sure you dress up properly for the trip. It can get very cold and we went on a nice sunny day. Drive safe if taking a rental car. The roads are very good. There is a small gravel part on the journey from the ferry terminal to adventure bay where roadworks are going on. It’s less gravel and more like a underconstruction road.

The 3 hour cruise was fantastic.

The 3 hour cruise was fantastic. My expectations were exceeded by miles. To get up so close to the seals, the escarpments, entering the car park all the while combating the significant sea swell was worth every cent. Despite the rough seas and getting a little wet not to mention the chill factor, I would do this again!

We had a very good time with the team who took us on this Bruny Island Cruise

We had a very good time with the team who took us on this Bruny Island Cruise. Rather than opt for the package tour from Hobart, we had a rental car so we made our own way to Bruny via the ferry from Kettering. It was a very windy day and quite cold but not too bumpy; they provided everyone with seasickness pills before setting out just in case, and the windbreaker "ponchos" they gave us did a good job stopping the wind. The ride out was something of a mix between a boat tour and a jet boat ride, and there was a lot of "jumping" over waves which we enjoyed being young but some other older passengers didn't seem to care for. Saw some amazing cliff faces, a bunch of seals both large and small. The team were very friendly and had a good sense of humour although would recommend they have a PA or speaker system installed as we were sitting right up the front and was hard to hear the commentary. Definitely would recommend this cruise as it's such a unique landscape.

The Bruny Island 3 hour Wilderness Cruise is something not to be missed on a trip to Tasmania

The Bruny Island 3 hour Wilderness Cruise is something not to be missed on a trip to Tasmania. It was an insightful and fun tour that really showed you the true side of Bruny Island. From the chance to see some seals to exploring the beauty of the island this cruise has something for everyone. However, don't forget to bundle up for this tour it actually gets quite cold out on the ocean. Regardless, this cruise is a must-do for Tasmania.
